SydSen. Recruit, a reputable recruitment agency in South Africa, is seeking qualified candidates for a permanent Accounts Clerk position. The role involves handling financial tasks such as processing supplier and customer accounts, preparing payment runs, and managing management packs. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance, proficiency in Excel and Sage, and strong communication skills. The role involves reviewing invoices, communicating with suppliers, preparing monthly reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The position is subject to a three-month probationary period.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Support payroll processing and expense claim management
  • Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up on overdue payments
  • File, organize, and safeguard financial documents for easy retrieval
  • Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal staff regarding financial queries
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations

Qualifications

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • 1 to 2 years of experience as an accounts clerk
